"fond de grenade"
weekly newsletter a.k.a my morning stream of consciousness

colloquially in the French countryside, "fond de grenade" signifies the bits of fruit leftover from seeding a pomegranate. it is also a near anagram for "Garden of Eden", with the addition of an extra "d".
the Garden of Eden--wherein humanity was damned by original sin with Eve's eating the forbidden fruit--embodies the theme of Plastic Fruits.
a Plastic Fruit signifies the disconnect between speech and comprehension. any idea can be misconstrued by way of internal biases or personal experiences.
to consume a Plastic Fruit is not forbidden, it is simply not possible. any word–any idea or persuasion–can be misconstrued by way of differing contexts or experiences between speaker and receiver. speech does not equate comprehension.
it is human nature is to seek to rectify this limited understanding by using words to categorize perceptions of reality, and discussing these perceptions amongst each other. all speech is an in-comprehensive representation of reality because it is dependent on the assumptions of both speaker and receiver.
"fond de grenade" is my proposal to rectify the tendency of people and systems to fail to acknowledge the world of perceptions which exist within each person.
via a weekly newsletter that takes the format of a Discord server, "fond de grenade" allows for a continuous interrogation of thought with every response and reaction to the week's text being visible and open to contention by the moderator (myself) and all readers.
to ensure weekly content and intentional engagement, "fond de grenade" operates on a subscription model of $10/month
